AAA Archicad Laws - Archicad 14

At All Australian Architecture, we have used Archicad since version 6.5 and currently have 4 version 14 licenses in our Sydney office.

Over time we have defined a series of rules of best practice that we have called the AAA Archicad Laws:

• Law 1: Use a customised template file
• Law 2: Use a customised work environment
• Law 3: Use a system for naming model files
• Law 4: Save regular copies (versions) of your model files
• Law 5: Avoid static dimensions - they are dangerous
• Law 6: Keep set-out layers locked
• Law 7: Use favorites
• Law 8: Work in 2D and 3D
• Law 9: Assign layers correctly
