Brief:
Perched on an elevated site with fantastic 180 degree views across Balmoral Beach and Middle Harbour, this existing 3 storey brick and weatherboard building required a complete transformation to create a contemporary home worthy of this prominent position.
Solution:
Working within the existing envelope, this dated home required a substantial rebuild with major internal alterations to create a streamlined contemporary design.
The house opened out onto the south taking advantage of the views, and onto a new terrace with wet edge swimming pool and spa over the garage level below. The interior plan was articulated to create new sophisticated living areas combined with large aluminium framed doors maximising views over the harbour.
