The initial design was to remove the existing red, brick cottage and recreate a sophisticated and modern home, which better utilised this difficult banked site. The process involved extensive excavation and the incorporation of a roof terrace to integrate with the cliff-like and unaccessible back yard.

The roof terrace allowed for a fantastic entertaining area with pool and extensive ocean views, complementing the large and high quality completed home.
