This existing 1930's property was located on a challenging hill-top site and offered dark and cold spaces with limited flow through to living spaces. The house was stripped bare to recreate a spacious and light home, which took advantage of the north-east hill-top breeze.
The skillion roof design governs this project's success by capturing sun over the roof of the neighbouring building allowing light through the entire house. The cost-effective design has transformed this home into a warm, light-filled and thermally efficient home.
