Architect's concept design - Daytime facade from street
The brief involved the incorporation of an upper level addition and renovation to the existing small family home.
The client wanted an upside down house with living and kitchen upstairs. The home includes 4 bedrooms, an existing large pool and garden and multiple living and entertaining spaces across the 2 levels.
The design was approved under the Complying Development Code which allowed the commencement of construction 12 days after the approval.
The tired and old house received a complete makeover by opening up of spaces and creating a better flow between the existing and new level.
Designed with classic features such as the timber lined cathedral ceiling, french doors with colonial glazing bars really brings this renovation a homely touch.
