Architect's concept design - View from street
The brief involved the incorporation of a new family home into the a tricky site on the cliff side capturing both the northerly aspect and the district and distant ocean views to the south whilst remaining quiet private.
The home includes 5 bedrooms, a large pool and garden for kids to run around in and multiple living and entertaining spaces across 2 levels.
The proposal maximises the northerly aspect at the front of the house through the use of a fully glazed front facade with a single pop up roof introducing natural light to the rest of the house.
At the back the house is set into the cliff side making full use of the site and creating a more prominent aesthetic to the entire house.
The concept has a very contemporary look with a "sugar-cube" like facade, clean contemporary lines and open plan living spaces.
