This is a quality home that deserves a classic addition, and one that's styled to look original. We've added a whole upper level, effectively making it 3 storey, added terraces front and back, plus a fancy art deco master ensuite.

With a sloping site, we managed to hide a sizeable basement and access underneath. Our design incorporated a roof trick to ensure a visible roofline from the front gate. Initially we modelling the facade with flatter profile Roman bricks but in the end our clients went for solid limestone blocks.

It was true. The existing house had just a tiny entry, so we extended out to the front and up into the roof. Along with a new garden and porch, the completed home really sings both inside and out. There's a stylish new kitchen and an attic living room.

By designing in 3D we were able to show how our clients and their neighbours the reduced over-shadowing and improved privacy, along while supporting a substantial addition.

With amazing harbour views, their small and dangerous balcony needed a re-design. Our design created a cantilever front boundary right up to the boundary. Together with bushfire safe construction, this solid home now has a fresh modern look.

We proposed a new upper level addition under the complying development code, to avoid any problems with council or neighbours. This allowed us to open up the kitchen and living areas downstairs for more light and flow to the rear deck and yard.

This is a rear re-design, that creates a new ground level kitchen, dining, living that flows out to the pool. Upstairs we have a new master suite with office and TV room with balcony. The challenge was making it work in the highest bushfire category - BAL FZ (flame zone).

Our clients had a long block with rear access so they subdivided to create this new block. Given the favourable northern aspect we were able to achieve a very high thermal rating of 8 stars. In the styling we mix and matched the facade to include rendered brick and Scyon Matrix cladding, and a skillion roof.

Yes, we can make much better use of your northern aspect, and with a skillion roof you'll get loads of light and space. And a small rear extension will provide flow to the yard and bi-fold doors will open up to a sunny private deck.
